Colonic Hydrotherapy
You may have already heard and read much about this therapy, some of it undoubtedly controversial, it is important that you visit and discuss your case with an ARCH registered Colon Therapist, who will be able to give you the correct advice.
Your first visit would involve taking your case history and the therapist will give you an explanation of the procedure. You do not need to do anything special in advance of your visit, although results may be more rapidly achieved if you follow a colon cleansing programme.
The colonic procedure itself will take approximately 30 to 45 minutes, during which warmed water will be gently introduced into the colon via the rectum. The therapist may use gentle massage or other techniques to help stimulate the release of stored matter.
At all times, your modesty is preserved by the use of a gown or towel. Herbal and Probiotic remedies may be introduced as part of your treatment and your therapist may advise beneficial dietary changes to further enhance your wellbeing.
People are sometimes a little apprehensive at their first visit which is perfectly normal. Your therapist will assure you at every step during the treatment about the procedures, and about the long term benefits that you will experience, especially if you decide to undertake further sessions.
In the hands of a fully trained therapist, colonic hydrotherapy is not only completely safe, but also highly beneficial. Equipment used is either disposable or sterilised, using the latest modern approved solutions which kill all prevalent bacteria, fungi and viruses. The water pressure used is very low, so there is no danger of damage to the bowel, the water is also pre-filtered.
Most people quickly experience improved mental and physical wellbeing, dependent upon the amount of toxicity present, and the environmental factors which have proceeded the first treatment and to which we are all exposed on a daily basis. Your therapist will advise you on the number of treatments deemed necessary in order to assist you to remain in a healthier state.
